August Full House
Of course we're sort of going in slow motion with the party stuff. We did finally order the cake from The Cakery and it's paid in full. Next week I have to put in my order for the food and already I done changed the dayum menu 3 times *shakin head.* I do have a tendency to OVER order stuff and waste lots of food. And since it's not going to be alot of family because we're halfway across the country, I need to be mindful of how I'm ordering stuff.
Next we have to buy the decor. I've changed my mind about that as well. It's been thunder storming out here so I don't think trying to do something totally out doors will work. So basically I scratched the idea of trying to create a beach in my backyard. Not to mention them dayum mosquito's out in this b*tch will eat yo azz alive, and yo kids and "yo mama and yo sister too . . ." LOL. So it looks like the party store wins again. And it just so happens we found one on accident while driving on Olive Rd or Blvd. So that's done or will be by Saturday.
Now if I can just find it in me to wash, condition, comb out, and Bantu Knot up the DOD's hair all this week, I'll be a happy girl. All their hair care products have been sitting on my kitchen counter for the past 2 weeks. Why? Because all I've done is take the braids out of their hair and throw their hair into a few ponytails. I do need to wash their hair because it's been awhile. And that is a chore in itself. Not to mention after I wash I have to restyle their hair *faint*. And that's only 3 DOD heads. What to do when the baby DOD is of hair combing age? *falling dead to the floor* LOL
Well, let me act like I got sh*t to do today and get my azz off the dayum computer. *chuckle* Okay, I'm out.

Woo you and all of that hair, gorgeous but I know its work! Sounds like you have a fun month ahead, it's a chore to get ready but I know you love having family to entertain. You might have to add me to your visit list looks like we may be making a trip up there in the immediate future.

i am right there with you on the hair!!! AND i have added Aidan to the mix! and he is not corporating. but his baby fro is getting to long. now what is you routin? do you do all of them in one day or do you break it up? Calease and Aidan's hair is short and theirs makes my hands hurt cause i have to hold it so tight. so i've been doing one of them with a long haired kid on 2 different days. but sometimes i do 3 in one day. i try to do Aidan while hes sleep. GURL you should have heard him the next day when he woke up. he woke my husband and told on me. talking bout "mama did my hair!" he was not happy. i hate party planning... thats why i don't do it. maybe i will have to call you on the next one! i you to go to that Party place when i lived over that way.

Hey there!
Enjoy those outdoors!
Just get four of those mosquito candles from Lowes and put them outside in the ground and let them burn for about 30 minutes before everyone comes outside and they will be GONE for the entire time you are enjoying the outdoors!!
